About the Role
As a Warehouse Representative, you will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control. You will work with warehouse systems and material handling equipment to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and on time.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are critical.
Job Responsibilities
You will be involved in shipping and receiving, including picking, packing, loading, and unloading customer orders. You will process orders using pick tickets and warehouse systems and ensure all paperwork is completed and verified correctly.
Inventory duties include cycle counting, reconciling discrepancies, inspecting incoming products for damage, restocking shelves, and helping maintain accurate stock records.
You will use hand-held scanners and ERP systems to support warehouse operations and track inventory movement.
You will operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Training and certification will be provided if needed. You will also complete equipment inspections and report any safety or mechanical issues.
Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe is a core part of the role. You will follow all health and safety procedures, COR standards, and safe work practices at all times.
You will work closely with other warehouse staff and the inside sales team to ensure customers receive correct, complete, and on-time deliveries.
Who Can Apply
Previous warehouse or distribution experience is an advantage but not required. Forklift or reach truck experience is helpful, but training is available. A background check will be required.
You must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
You must be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and able to handle physically demanding work.
Physical Requirements
This role requires standing and walking for long periods. You must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds. You will be doing repetitive tasks such as picking, packing, and loading, as well as bending, reaching, crouching, and handling materials throughout the day.
You must also be able to operate warehouse tools, scanners, and equipment safely in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on experience.
