Customer Care Coordinator – Capital One (Work From Home, USA Only)

Capital One is hiring Customer Care Coordinators to support its Auto Servicing customers across the United States. This is a full-time, work-from-home role focused on handling account inquiries, payment questions, and customer support escalations for one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S.

This position is designed for experienced customer service professionals who can handle complex situations, deliver high-quality support, and help shape the customer experience.

Job Location and Work Type

This is a 100% remote position for U.S.-based applicants. Candidates must live within the continental United States. Applicants from California, Hawaii, or U.S. territories are not eligible. International work is not permitted.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM Central Time.

Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers who have general account or payment-related questions. You will also manage more complex offshore and web-based escalations, ensuring that customer issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

The role includes providing consistent, high-quality service while documenting interactions, following internal processes, and helping customers move toward successful account outcomes. This position also offers the opportunity to grow into higher-level account advocacy and leadership roles.

Technology and Work-From-Home Requirements

You must have a secure and quiet home office environment with no background noise or distractions. A private cable or fiber internet connection is required. Mobile data, hotspots, and satellite internet are not allowed.

Your internet speed must be at least 5 Mbps download while connected to Capital One’s VPN, with 10 Mbps or higher preferred. Both wired and Wi-Fi connections are acceptable as long as performance and security standards are met. Capital One may request proof of your internet service, speed, and provider.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least two years of customer service or call center experience is required, along with at least one year of experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Three or more years of customer service or call center experience is preferred. Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.

Salary

The annual salary for this role is $43,680 for remote employees and for candidates based in Richmond, Virginia. Compensation for other locations is based on regional pay structures and will be listed in the final offer.
